From struggle to self-trust — this is my story.

Hi, I am Shannon. I’m a certified life coach and a mom who knows what it’s like to live with a loud inner critic—and to rebuild a life from that place.

For much of my life, I carried patterns of self-doubt, fear, and emotional overwhelm that quietly shaped my decisions. I became skilled at appearing “fine” on the outside while feeling disconnected from myself on the inside.

Over time, those patterns showed up in coping strategies, relationship struggles, and a belief that I wasn’t enough.

At 35, life brought me to a breaking point. I was newly single, raising an infant, facing financial pressure, and unsure of what came next. It was one of the hardest seasons of my life—but also the beginning of real change.

That’s when I found coaching.

In 2017, I enrolled in the Co-Active Training Institute (CTI), where I learned how to work with my thoughts, emotions, and patterns in a completely new way. I later became a Certified Professional Co-Active Coach (CPCC).

What changed wasn’t just my circumstances—it was my relationship with myself.

I learned how to:

  • notice and interrupt self-critical thinking

  • build self-trust through action

  • make decisions from clarity instead of fear

  • and reconnect with what actually mattered to me

Today, I live a life that feels grounded, intentional, and aligned. I’m a mom, a coach, and someone who deeply believes in the capacity people have to grow when they’re supported in the right way.

I work with adolescents because I know how early these internal patterns can form—and how powerful it can be to shift them early, before they become lifelong narratives.

My work is about helping teens develop:

  • confidence

  • emotional awareness

  • self-trust

  • and the ability to navigate life with more clarity

Because when someone learns how to understand their inner world, everything else becomes more possible.

Why work with me?

There are many coaches who work with teens—but this work requires more than motivation or advice.

It requires someone who understands how quickly self-doubt can take hold, and how quietly it can shape a young person’s decisions, confidence, and relationships.

Here’s what I bring to this work:

  • Certified coaching training (CTI – Co-Active Training Institute)
A structured, internationally recognized coaching methodology.

  • A grounded, practical approach
This is not abstract mindset talk—it’s real tools, real conversations, and real-life application.

  • Deep understanding of the inner critic
I know what it’s like to live with it, and how to work with it—not against it.

  • A focus on emotional safety and trust
Teens don’t change when they feel pressured—they change when they feel seen, understood, and capable.

My role is not to “fix” your teen.

It’s to help them understand themselves in a way that builds lasting confidence from the inside out.

“Shannon has been such a blessing in my life. Through some of my hardest seasons, she listened with incredible patience, kindness, and understanding, always helping me find clarity when I felt lost or overwhelmed. Her ability to truly listen and gently challenge me to grow has helped me believe in myself, reach goals I never thought possible, and become a stronger version of myself. I’m deeply grateful for the impact she’s had on my life. Shannon has a true gift for helping people heal, grow, and transform.”
